Passport Information

The passport office is currently closed and will not be accepting application until further notice.

Per the U.S. Department of State website as of May 4, 2020

If you are thinking about applying for or renewing a U.S. passport now for international travel, please read the Department of State's current international travel advisory. Because of public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the U.S. Department of State has extremely limited U.S. passport operations.

If you apply or renew now, you will experience significant delays of several months to receive your U.S. passport and the return of your citizenship evidence documents (such as birth certificates or naturalization certificates). Unless you have a life-or-death emergency, please wait until the U.S. Department of State to resume normal operations to apply for or renew your passport.

Due to public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, many passport application acceptance facilities are closed to the public. Please contact your acceptance facility location directly to determine if it is open and accepting U.S. passport applications.

Expedited service is not available at this time. You should expect significant delays if you are applying for or renewing your passport and requesting routine service. Learn more about the current status of passport operations and processing times here.
