To file a King City police report on any issue that is not considered a crime in progress, please call the Non-Emergency dispatch (503)629-0111 (this includes  animal problems, homeless issues, speeding, or parking issues.) 

The King City Police Records department is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The records department is closed on Saturday and Sunday and all legal holidays. 

To obtain a copy of a police report, please submit a Public Records Request to the Records clerk. A fee of $35.00 (except for victims named in reports.) will be charged. 

The Records department provides vehicle releases for vehicles that have been impounded. All vehicle releases require vehicle proof of ownership (registration in owner's name), signed over titles will not be accepted, proof of insurance, picture ID, and valid driver's license.
