Disability, Aging and Veteran Services (DAVS) provides programs and services to maintain and enhance the quality of life to assure that basic needs are met for Washington County seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities. Most of our programs serve those ages 60 and over, while their veteran's program and benefits enrollment center serve all ages. For more information, please call Washington County at 503-846-3060.

Oregon Senior Peer Outreach, a program of Community Counseling Solutions, has launched "Senior Connection," a free program to keep Washington County older adults connected while they stay at home. Certified peer support specialists trained to work with older adults make friendly calls to listen and provide support weekly or more often upon request. Medicare Help is a program by Washington County that provides information on how Medicare recipients can access help in understanding their insurance benefits.

Meal Programs Meal programs for older adults (60+) in Washington County are offered in two ways. First, there are seven locations around the county that offer healthy, in-person meals. Second, there is an option for home-delivered meals for individuals who are unable to attend an in-person meal site.
