City of King City Facility Closes for Two Week Pause

City of King City Facility Closes for Two Week Pause

Due to the governor's restrictions to combat the spread of the Covid 19 virus, our office will be closed to the public starting Wednesday, November 18 to December 2. Our staff will be answering emails, fax, and returning phone calls during the shutdown. There will be no passport processing during this time.

Essential City services will continue, and the City will provide the next update on facility impacts by Friday, November 27, 2020.

Our Police officers continue to respond to all emergency calls, but there are additional 9-1-1 call-taking protocols and modified patient evaluation procedures to maintain distance and limit exposure. We are in constant communication with other local and state health agencies.

In an emergency Call 9-1-1
Non-emergency dispatch: 503-629-0111 (please note you may get a call from the police first)
Records: 503-620-8851(counter is closed -Limited staff is available for records requests by calls and emails.)

Your King City Police Department is available and answering all calls for service.  If you would like to speak with an officer, please contact dispatch at 503-629-0111 for all non-emergencies.  You may receive a phone call from an officer before any direct contact on non-emergencies.  As always, if you are having an emergency call 911.

With the uncertainty to the extent of Covid-19 exposure, we are following suggested guidelines to reduce exposure for you the citizen and staff.  We appreciate everyone's ongoing support and adherence to suggested guidelines found on our King City website.
