The City Council of the City of King City is currently accepting applications to the Planning Commission. This position was originally appointed on June 1, 2018. THIS IS NOT A FULL TERM. The term of service was originally appointed in June of 2018 and will end June 1, 2022
The City Council is planning to interview and review all applications at the following dates:
- June 16th, 2021, at 5:30 PM (interviewing, reviewing, and/or possibly appointing the position.)
Applicants must be King City residents or within the Urban Growth Boundary. The Planning Commission serves to review and advise the City Council on applications for development proposals to assure compliance with the comprehensive plan and development code of the city. The Planning Commission typically reviews applications for variances, conditional use permits, home occupations, subdivisions, parcel maps, and design reviews. The Planning Commission meets at City Hall on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM. The Planning Commission's application can be obtained at City Hall (15300 SW 116th Ave, King City, OR 97224, during the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday.
