King City Seeks Public Input on King City Master Plan

King City, OR – Join us and your neighbors for a Virtual Community Meeting about future growth and development of the King City Master Plan area. Participants will view a presentation on the KCMP project, then have the opportunity to ask questions about the project and share comments on the vision and goals for the area. A recording of the meeting will be posted to the project website along with an Online Open House for community members to share their comments.

“We are excited to launch our community engagement activities and continue are ongoing dialogue with the community, said Mike Weston, City Manager of King City. “Community input will help guide how we implement the community vision.”

The King City Master Plan is an effort to guide future growth and development in the 528-acre King City Master Plan Area. The area was added to the Urban Growth Boundary in 2020, and is bounded by the current King City city limits to the east, Beef Bend Road on the north, the Tualatin River/Elsner Road on the south, and Roy Rogers Road to the west.

During the King City Master Plan planning process, the City will work with community members to refine the community’s vision for the area as stated in the 2018 Concept Plan. The planning process will produce policies, Comprehensive Plan and Community Development Code amendments, and implementation measures resulting in a 24-hour city complete with a variety of housing, employment, commercial, transportation, and recreational opportunities.
