Notice to Public Utility Providers
The City of King City amended its Municipal Code Chapter 12 (Streets, Sidewalks, and Public Places) in October 2019 (KCMC 12.08.095) to minimize damage to public infrastructure and to establish cost recovery mechanisms for damage resulting from cuts and excavations in newly paved or resurfaced streets.

The City plans to resurface several streets in September 2022.  In order to protect the new pavement and avoid paying charges from cuts and excavations in the street, please complete any planned work in that street prior to that date.  For a list of street improvements, we encourage you to visit the City’s project site at:  https://bit.ly/KCstreetwork

2022 Street Maintenance Program

The City of King City will be performing pavement rehabilitation of certain streets within the City. To see the list, please go to: https://bit.ly/KCstreetwork

During construction, it will be necessary to close the street partially or completely to vehicular traffic during construction work hours due to safety concerns. No street closure is expected to last more than 12 hours at a time. Street parking will also be restricted. “No Parking” signs will be posted along the street 3 days in advance and will be enforced by the Police Department.
