Commissions, Committees, and Boards
The City’s various Commissions, Committees, and Boards help in the governance of the City. We Encourage all King City residents to participate.
All appointments to Commissions, Committees and Boards are made by the Mayor and confirmed by a vote of the City Council.
Each March the Budget Committee meets to review and recommend a budget for the City’s next fiscal year.
Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC)
SAC is made up of a group of citizens with diverse perspectives who will help guide the planning process for the King City Urban Reserve Area. All SAC Meetings are open to the public.
Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)
TAC is made up of local governments with diverse perspectives which will help guide the planning process for the King City Urban Reserve Area. All TAC Meetings are open to the public.
The Planning Commission is responsible for making recommendations to the City Council on all legislative land-use and planning matters. Including but not limited to regulations of future growth and development in King City, plans for the promotion of the residential, industrial, commercial and economic needs of the community and study of measures that promote the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of King City.
