Meet the Chief

Chuck Fessler, Police Chief Hi, I'm Chuck Fessler your Police Chief in the City of King City. It is my privilege to provide leadership to the public safety organization that provides our community with law enforcement services. The King City Police Department, founded in 1986, has grown from maintenance of the peace agency in a small city to an evolving full service agency in a city about to undergo change and experince growth. It is the desire of the members of the Police Department to grow as the city grows not only in size but also in the development of a service model that emphasizes the community safety and protects the quality of life of all King City residents.

The King City Police Department Mission

The King City Police Department shall strive to provide the highest quality law enforcement services that reflect and meet the needs of the citizens of King City. We shall diligently protect the personal rights of all persons while assuring that their dignity is preserved. We will partnership with our community to achieve the goal of improving our quality of life by working toward a safer community through addressing personal safety needs and meeting the challenge of crime reduction through prevention and proactive enforcement strategies.
